The Danby Onion Club held their annual show at the Duke of Wellington Inn on Sunday the 6th of October. There were twenty four entries and the onions were judged by Danby Show judge Graham Watson from Ainthorpe.

A trophy and bottle of Veuve Clicquot champagne were presented to each of the winners by Graham Watson. He congratulated them on there efforts and explained to the members the reasons behind his judgement.
A donation of £125 has been made to the Army Benevolent Fund from club funds.
Forty members have signed up for the 2014 competition.
