The Duke of Wellington Inn has been serving local customers and travellers in it's timbered beamed bars for well over three hundred years.
We offer three cask–conditioned ales which currently include Daleside Bitter from the Daleside Brewery Harrogate & Trueman from the Copper Dragon Brewery at Skipton plus a guest. We usually serve Yorkshire beers although sometimes we have a ‘foreign’ beer on tap. During the summer through to early autumn customers can try real ciders and perrys.
Our local CAMRA branch have named us their Pub of the Season on three occasions and in 2012 we received their Pub of the Year Award.
We have a good and reasonably priced wine list chosen by our wine merchants the House of Townend from East Yorkshire. The house wines are very popular by the glass or bottle. Many guests enjoy one of our range of decent malt whiskies beside the fire after dinner.
