“I can’t recommend and praise this little hotel highly enough. The welcome by the owners was friendly without being gushing, the room was clean, well appointed and extremely comfortable. The food was superb, especially the meat pie. The location, by car, is within easy reach of Whitby, Runswick, Staithes and Middlesborough together with countless walks over the moor. The hotel is within walking distance of the train station, as a bonus.”
